Gas Boiler Upgrade or First Time Central

If you have an inefficient boiler or a back boiler you can have a new efficient Gas boiler fitted. If you don’t currently have gas central heating, but have a gas meter installed before 1st March 2022, we will install the boiler, pipework and radiators. It all comes as part of the installation. We can determine the age of your boiler by the serial number on it.

Due to how inefficient some methods of heating homes have become, there is now a large push by the Government to get people to have new central heating systems that emit a low amount of emissions, or a new A rated gas boiler.

How much can I save?

Having a new gas boiler or first-time central heating system could save you up to £350 on your energy bill. It’s a great way of raising your energy performance rating and increasing the value of your property.

What heating types are eligible to be changed?

Gas boilers with radiators with an efficiency of 86.7% or less and all properties with no radiators but do have a gas meter fitted before 1st March 2022.

What's the process and how long will it take?

Following an Energy Performance Review, a survey and checking someone in the house is eligible, work should take us no longer than 4 days. A replacement boiler will result in new radiators and pipework all included in the grant.

Do I Qualify for a Grant?

Someone living in the property must be in receipt of a qualifying benefit
OR

Have a combined household income of £31,000 or less.

Have a gas meter installed before 1st March 2022 but have no radiators.

OR have a gas central heating system with a gas boiler, less than 86.7% efficient

Have an EPC of band E, F or G or no EPC.

Have no EPC and we will complete a free Energy Performance assessment free of charge.

How do I know if my boiler is old enough?

We can check for you all non condensing gas boilers and gas back boilers qualify.

How much will it save me?

How much will it save me? A new replacement gas boiler will be about 20% more efficient than an old back boiler and 60% more efficient than a gas fire.
